Coaching for the established singer

I offer coaching for a range of musical styles, varying from opera to music theatre, from lieder and arts songs to cabaret.

Coaching for the underconfident

I am patient and encouraging while imparting solid, proven technique.

All of my less confident students have developed as singers. Many have benefited from this increased confidence in other aspects of their lives.

Many have been told that, despite their enthusiasm, they are not cut out to be singers: I have been able to demonstrate, repeatedly, that substantial progress is achievable. I place a high priority on engendering enjoyment and satisfaction, the most important ingredients for singing.

Coaching for the beginner

I can develop a programme for the new singer, within their individual time and vocal constraints.

I cater for all age ranges, from children of secondary age to more mature years.

Qualifications

As a qualified and competent pianist, I am able to accompany my students across all ranges of musical style.

In addition to my performing experience at an international level, I have a degree in music, and am a qualified music teacher. I have many years of experience teachng in public and private educational establishments, and hold diplomas in singing and piano teaching.
